Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-08

This policy explains how MonacoTop processes personal data, in accordance with Monaco Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2020 on personal data protection and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The controller is [● LEGAL ENTITY NAME], Boulevard des Moulins, 98000 Monaco. For any privacy matter: [email protected].

2. What we collect

  • Identity & contact data you provide: name, email, telephone, and the content of your enquiries.
  • Enquiry & preference data: listings viewed, saved searches and email-alert criteria.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser type and cookie identifiers (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Why we process it, and on what basis

  • To pass your enquiry to the relevant listed company so it can respond — performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request, and our legitimate interest in operating the platform.
  • To provide saved searches and email alerts — your consent, withdrawable at any time.
  • To operate, secure and improve the site — our legitimate interest.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Disclosure to listed companies

Core function: when you submit an enquiry about a listing or company, the personal data in that enquiry is transmitted to the relevant independent third-party company so that it can contact you directly. That company is an independent controller of your data and processes it under its own privacy policy. MonacoTop is not responsible for how a listed company subsequently uses your data.

5. Other recipients

  • Service providers acting on our instructions (hosting, email delivery, analytics) under confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities where required by law.
  • We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside Monaco or the EEA, we rely on an adequate level of protection or appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses).

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above — typically for the duration of our relationship and a reasonable period thereafter to meet legal and evidential requirements — after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise them, contact [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Monegasque supervisory authority, the Autorité de Protection des Données Personnelles (APDP), or, where applicable, your local EU supervisory authority.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. No transmission over the internet is, however, completely secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version is always available on this page.
